Which one should I choose - Windows or Linux?




You might be wondering whether you should choose a Windows hosting or Linux Hosting. At Quick2Host.com, we have the same charges for both. So, you can use the following points to decide which one to choose:

  • Linux Server does not support ASP and ASP .Net as well as MS SQL 2005 database server.
  • Windows Server does not support Perl.
  • Linux Server allows one click install for many open source applications like Joomla, Wordpress, etc. Windows hosting is compatible, but you need to manually setup these applications.
  • The selection of the web server operating system does not depend upon which OS you are using.
